Ghazal Barry is dedicated to nurturing young minds and keeping the Urdu language alive for future generations. With over a decade of experience teaching Urdu Language to young learners in a school, Ghazal believes language learning should be meaningful, creative and enjoyable. She holds a Level 3 Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Development and has completed professional development through CACHE and Teach Like a Finn! becoming a TLF Trainer with Finnish Global Education Solutions.
Ghazal is the author of Roshni 1 Urdu Workbook, published by Ferozsons, Lahore, designed for children aged 5–7 to develop foundational Urdu Language skills in an engaging way. She also conducts Urdu learning initiatives, including Online Conversational Classes through Roshni Dur Tak, and has conducted Urdu Storytelling Session internationally, including in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Beyond education, Ghazal works alongside her brother, Atif Barry in their family Printing and Packaging business. His constant encouragement has supported her entrepreneurial journey and inspired her to turn ideas into purposeful projects. Atif Barry’s entrepreneurial skills helped Ghazal develop confidence. She learned creativity, problem solving, communication and decision-making skills from him. Through education, entrepreneurship and creativity, Ghazal continues to connect children with Urdu and their Pakistani heritage wherever they are.
