Shaan debuted with Bulandi in 1990, opposite another debutante, Reema Khan. He has since starred in hundreds of Punjabi and Urdu language films. He starred in Bilal Lashari’s Waar in 2013 with Aisha Khan, Shamoon Abbasi, Uzma Khan, Ali Azmat, and Meesha Shafi. Opening to good reviews, it was Pakistan’s most-awaited movie. Career As Director and Producer
Shaan started his career as a director. He oversaw his big 1999 release project Guns & Roses—Ik Junoon. Tanvir Fatima Rehman, an art entrepreneur, handled the movie’s production. He starred with Meera and Resham, as well as Faisal Rehman. Pervaiz Kaleem wrote the song; M. Arshad composed the music; Azhar Burki handled the cinematography. Directing Mujhe Chand Chahiye, starring himself, Noor, Reema Khan, Moammar Rana, Javed Sheikh, and Atiqa Odho in 2000, he then oversaw Moosa Khan (2001), starring Saima, Abid Ali, Jan Rambo, and Noor.
