
Hassnain Awais is a Lahore based Pakistani visual artist printmaker educator and mentor whose artistic journey has been shaped by experimentation perseverance and a deep commitment to creating opportunities for emerging artists A Fine Arts graduate with Honours from the National College of Arts Lahore in 2005 he has developed a diverse professional practice spanning printmaking mixed media painting teaching exhibitions workshops and artist residencies He is also the founder of Studio Hassnain an independent non profit creative platform established to help artists access facilities technical guidance knowledge and opportunities to develop their practices
Hassnain Awais presented Dust of the Unwritten a solo exhibition at The Zoo Middlesbrough CIC in the United Kingdom from 5 to 26 June 2025 The exhibition explored memory mythology and the unseen connections that shape cultural histories
His work was included in Heritage Revived Artistic Expressions from Punjab’s Golden Era at Fakir Khana Museum in Lahore in 2025 The exhibition brought together artists responding to Punjab’s historical and cultural heritage through contemporary artistic perspectives
