Muhammad Jameel is a Pakistani humanitarian who started off by rescuing one kitten on 8 January 2008. The result of that action was the establishment of the Huraira foundation which is currently a nationwide welfare network of 350+ members who strive to rescue animals, human welfare and spread compassion as a social cause in Pakistan.
The welfare organization of Muhammad Jameel has recently organized a health check and vaccination drive of street animals where hundreds of dogs and cats in cities were taken care of free of charge.
The team has already done some emergency rescue missions such as injured animals, lost pets and accident victims in Sindh and Punjab cities.
Community awareness on humane treatment, pet care and responsible ownership was held by Huraira Foundation volunteers to the local residents.
In the recent grassroot feeding movements, food was given to animals in the streets during extreme weather conditions to assist the animals in extreme weather.
The foundation also increased its volunteer recruitment and training which gave the youths the strength to be involved in rescue missions and welfare services.
Muhammad Jameel used his Facebook page to broadcast the highlights and updates straight to the supporters, market outreach events, rescue stories and community milestones.

I
had the honor of becoming acquainted with Mr. Jameel Ahmed at the time of the inauguration of Huraira Animal Hospital, Qasimabad. Since that day, I have closely observed his unwavering commitment to the welfare of stray and abandoned animals, particularly street dogs and cats, even during times of great challenge and limited resources.
Although Mr. Jameel Ahmed is not a veterinarian by profession, his dedication to animal welfare reflects exceptional compassion, responsibility, and selfless service. Through his continuous efforts, many vulnerable animals have been rescued, rehabilitated, provided shelter and food, and given opportunities for adoption. His personal sacrifices and generous contribution of his own resources demonstrate a rare level of sincerity and devotion to this noble cause.
I offer my sincere prayers for his long life, good health, and continued success in serving humanity through the mission of Huraira Foundation. May his dedication remain a lasting source of inspiration for all those working in the field of animal welfare.
