Qasim Bugti is a contemporary visual artist, curator, and art educator from Balochistan Pakistan. He is recognized for combining the traditional discipline of miniature painting with contemporary concepts inspired by nature memory cosmic phenomena and cultural narratives. A graduate of the National College of Arts Lahore he has established himself through solo exhibitions curatorial projects and educational initiatives. He is the recipient of the Haji Shareef Prize in Miniature Painting and the National Youth Award for excellence in Painting and Calligraphy. As the founder of Collective 55 Residency he continues to mentor emerging artists and strengthen Pakistan’s contemporary art landscape.
Qasim Bugti continues developing new bodies of work exploring resilience memory transformation and the relationship between humanity and nature through miniature painting.
He is actively expanding Collective 55 Residency to provide mentorship collaborative opportunities and professional development for emerging artists across Pakistan.
